Da da da da da da-da da da da da da da…da-da-da-da

I loved Action News growing up. It was this clarion call to dinner for the city of brotherly love. The ABC affiliate won the hearts of the city with a format that is now adopted by most local news programs. I’ve changed a lot, I can’t stand local news, but when I hear that familiar tune, puncuated with Action News, my heart soars, not because I believe I will actually hear something of substance, but because its Action News…well, I must say that Philadelphia’s local news is really good, but I’m not feeling it in other towns. Perhaps, because I have not had a television in a decade, it makes it hard to be a good tv news critic without one. But, the designer for Action News died this week, and so I thought  would pay my respects…

What music do you think they will play at his funeral?
